Polo wraps are one of the most common forms of leg protection.  A polo wrap is a long wrap that is almost always made of fleece, which is wrapped around the lower half of a horse's leg to offer protection and support.  Polo wrapping is a skill which should be perfected before being put to real use, as an improper wrap can do a lot of damage to the tendons on your horse's legs.  Polo wraps are very popular with people whose horses do not even need protection-as they come in a rainbow of colours to match every saddle pad!
