Nearly twenty years ago, Dr. Gordon Chang received his Ph.D. in physiology from the University of Toronto, Institute of Biomedical Engineering. His career goal was to produce over the counter pharmaceutical natural health products so in 1992 he founded Omega Alpha Phamceuticals in Toronto. He realized that the industry was unregulated and that rigorous scientific quality and manufacturing to good manufacturing practice (GMP) pharmaceutical standards was required. Omega Alpha was site licensed for GMP standards more than a decade before this was a Health Canada requirement. Omega Alpha continues to manufacture all of its supplements based on proven scientific research and testing.
