In 1997 E.A. Mattes branched out from producing sheepskin products for Daimler, Bentley, and the civil and military aviation industries to equestrian products. Their products are manufactured from especially developed and rigorously tested materials of the finest quality available in world markets: 100% genuine sheepskin, made at the Mattes tannery in Germany, quilts made from 100% cotton outer fabrics with Poly-flex® shape holding interiors. The standard quilt is double sided giving incredible shape retention in use and after washing.
